Office of the Municipal Mayor

The Municipal Mayor as the Local Chief Executive, exercises overall leadership in political, social and economic activities in the municipality. It is mandated under the Local Government Code of 1991 to implement regulatory measures enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan. He also ensures the delivery of basic services and the provision of adequate facilities. Hence, among its powers vested by law is the issuance of permits, licenses, certificates and other duties for the welfare of its constituents.

  • ISSUANCE OF MAYOR’S CLEARANCE OF GOOD MORAL CHARACTER

Requirements

      • Community Tax Certificate / Cedula
      • Photocopy of Barangay Clearance
      • Photocopy of Police Clearance

 

  • APPLICATION AND SELECTION OF QUALIFIED MUNICIPAL SCHOLARS
      1. After the conduct of orientation on how to accomplish the requirements for submission, the applicants should have the following documents:

        • Form 138
        • Application Form
        • Latest 1×1 picture
      1. The Applicant takes the Annual Entrance Examination (AEE) under the Office of the Municipal Mayor
      2. Reviews, checks and evaluates the result of AEE, Form 138 rating average and the economic status whether belonging to less privilege families of the Municipality
      3. Then lastly, the Mayor will interview the pre-qualified applicant and if everything is in order, he will approve the application to the Municipal Scholarship Program

 

  • RELEASE OF MUNICIPAL SCHOLARSHIP GRANT FUND

FOR NEW APPLICANTS

      • Notarized Agreement / Kasunduan
      • Original Receipt from the School Registrar (tuition fee, miscellaneous)
      • Subjects enrolled for the incoming semester
      • Scholarship Grant from the Municipal Mayor
      • Disbursement voucher

FOR RENEWAL OF SCHOLARSHIP GRANT

      • Certificate of grades of the previous semester with dry seal issued by the School Registrar
      • Original Receipt from the School Registrar (tuition fee, miscellaneous)
      • Subjects enrolled for the incoming semester
      • Renewal of Scholarship Grant from the Municipal Mayor
      • Disbursement vouchers

*For the case of 2.5 of final grades lower than 2.5, the scholar should submit the Promisory Notes based on the Agreement signed by the Municipal Mayor and the scholar.
